They carry forty pounds of water on their backs from the nearest source, walking before sunrise, sleeping beside wells, making trip after trip. Hours disappear to meet a basic, solvable need. That stolen time costs women and girls vital opportunities to study, earn an income, or invest in their futures, all for water teeming with preventable diseases.
But clean water changes everything. 100% of your donation goes directly to clean water projects in Ethiopia, so women and girls can reclaim their time. Girls can attend school full-time. Women can support their families, start businesses, lead, or even just be.
