Access to clean water changes everything. It prevents water borne disease and death. It gives women back time and allows children time to go to school rather than spending hours hiking to water sources (that often aren't clean).
703 million people lack access to clean water. While this is a big number. It's smaller than it was before thanks to the S4 community that has raised over $100M for village water systems in Uganda and Sierra Leone (details on the villages you've helped and systems your money has built is available at s4xevents.com/charity-water.
Our S4x25 campaign goal is $20K which will build or refurbish a system for another village. You understand the importance of critical infrastructure. While these systems are simple, they are monitored by SCADA.
Dale Peterson will match your contribution dollar for dollar until the goal is met. In addition there will be an art installation on the 4th floor that you can participate in and will lead to a $25 donation.
