You braved the rain. You supported charity: water and celebrated our fifth anniversary. And as a result, you helped us raise $29,540 in one night, all for water project costs.

You might remember how charity: water started -- five years ago, we threw a party just like this, collecting $20 per person at the door. We used 100% of the money to fund our first water projects in Africa. Then, we proved where the money went by later showing every guest photos and GPS coordinates of the communities they helped.

We’re throwing it back to the old days: just as we did with our first birthday party guests, we’re going to show you exactly where the $20 you paid to get into the party will end up in the field. Through this year’s September Campaign, your money is supporting our progress to bring clean water to communities in northern Ethiopia.
